Description
Mapo Tofu is beloved among Japanese food enthusiasts. Marumiya Foods' Mabou Tofu Sauce is a mild-spicy blend that enhances tofu with chili and bean-based stock. Ideal for pairing with fermented black beans and minced meat.
Usage / Direction
1 - Dissolve Toromi powder in 2 tablespoons (30ml) of water.
2 - Add one serving of mapo tofu, 180ml of water (less than 1 cup), and tofu to a frying pan, turn on the heat, and bring to a boil while stirring gently.
3 - Turn off the heat and add the thickening powder liquid.
Stir well and then stir in little by little to mix everything together.
4 - Turn on the fire again and simmer over medium heat while stirring.
Once it thickens, it's done.
