Description
Tteokbokki is a popular Korean dish consisting of soft rice cakes (tteok) cooked in a spicy and slightly sweet sauce made from gochujang (fermented chilli paste) and other spices. The chewy rice cakes have a pleasant, chewy texture and are ideal for lovers of savoury, spicy snacks or meals
Usage / Direction
1. rinse the rice cakes with water and drain them.
2. put the drained rice cakes, hot pepper paste, sugar and water in a pan and bring to the boil.
3. add eggs, fish cakes or vegetables as desired.
