Shizuoka matcha powder is a high quality matcha powder. This finely ground powder provides the full, intense flavor of matcha tea.
It is perfect for making traditional matcha tea, but can also be used in smoothies, desserts or baked goods.
Usage / Direction
1. traditional matcha tea: Put half a teaspoon of matcha powder in a tea bowl. Then add hot but not boiling water (about 70-80°C). Whisk the mixture with a bamboo whisk until the powder is completely dissolved and a light layer of foam appears on the surface.
2. matcha latte: mix a teaspoon of matcha powder with a little hot water in a cup to form a paste. Then add heated milk (or a plant-based alternative) and sweeten to taste.
3. in smoothies and juices: Add a teaspoon of matcha powder to your favorite smoothie or juice.
4. Baked goods and desserts: You can also use matcha powder in baking or desserts. It adds a beautiful green hue and unique flavor to cakes, cookies, ice cream and other desserts. Use as you like.
