Showa - Okonomiyaki Mix (200g)

Showa's Okonomiyaki Mix is a convenient solution to prepare authentic Japanese Okonomiyaki at home. In the 200g package, you'll find a premixed blend of high-quality ingredients that forms the base for this popular Japanese dish. Simply add water or broth, along with your favorite fresh ingredients like cabbage, seafood or meat to create a hearty meal. With Showa's Okonomiyaki Mix, it's easy to enjoy a piece of Japanese cuisine at home.

Usage / Direction

Step 1:
Add 100g okonomiyaki flour to 100ml water in a bowl and mix well. Add 300g chopped cabbage ( approximately half a head), 1 egg and 100g of your favorite okonomiyaki fillings (squid, shrimp, pork, etc).

Step 2:
On a hot plate or in a pan over medium heat, add a little vegetable oil before pouring out half of the okonomiyaki batter in a circular shape. Let it cook for about 4 minutes.

Step 3:
Carefully flip the whole pancake and cover it with a lid. Let it cook for an additional 5 minutes.

Step 4:
Take off the lid and flip the pancake again. Let it cook for another minute.

Step 5:
Transfer the pancake to plates and serve with okonomiyaki sauce, mayonnaise and bonito fish flakes.

Repeat from step 2 with the remaining okonomiyaki batter.
